Competition Guidelines
Everything you need to know to participate successfully in our web design competition
Competition Rules
- Open to participants aged 8-18 years old
- Original work only – no copying or plagiarism
- Must include source code and documentation
- Submission deadline: 31st March 2026
- Website must be functional and accessible
- Publishing your website online is mandatory
Development Guidelines
- Use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (frameworks allowed)
- Clean, well-commented code structure
- Properly render images and assets
- Projects built using CMS platforms such as WordPress, Wix, Joomla, Shopify, Webflow, or readymade templates will NOT be accepted.
- Only original self-coded websites/applications are allowed.
- Front-end and/or back-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript or PHP is permitted.
- No template-based designs or copying existing codebases from public repositories.
- APIs may be used to add additional features or dynamic data.
- Frameworks and libraries may be used only if students understand their working.
AI Usage Policy
AI Tools Allowed
AI assistance is permitted for learning and debugging, but the core design and code must be your own work.
- Use AI for code suggestions and debugging help
- Must disclose AI usage in your submission documentation
- Cannot submit entirely AI-generated websites
Originality & Copyright Policy
- Submitted entry must be an original idea and designed exclusively for this championship.
- All external references, image sources, research links must be properly credited.
- Any copyrighted material used without permission or credits will result in disqualification.
- Plagiarism is strictly prohibited — originality counts as a key judging factor.

Prepare Your Files
Organize all your website files, images, and documentation in a single folder
Create ZIP File
Compress your project folder into a ZIP file with your name and category
Submit Online
Upload your ZIP file through our online submission portal before the deadline

Complete well-commented HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files (if applicable)
Project Description
Brief explanation of your website concept and design choices (video, ppt or doc file)
Screenshots
High-quality screenshots of your website on different devices

Technical Requirements
- File size limit: 100MB total
